Since the main account name of the current campus mailbox is the employee number of the faculty or student, it cannot be changed. In addition to the employee number or student number, the mailbox user can also customize an email alias—which is actually the account name of most people for external communication.

 After the campus mailbox user identity is changed (for example, undergraduate students become master students, master students become doctoral students, students become teachers, etc.), if it still needs to keep the original email alias account name, please handle in accordance with the following procedures:

 Users whose identities have changed but need to keep their original email account names

 Use the personal account to log in to the campus mailbox of http://mail.hhu.edu.cn, backup e-mails and personal address book

 Bring the ID card and work card/student ID to the Network Library (Xikang Road Campus) or Zhiyou Building 113 Office (Jiangning Campus), sign to confirm the deletion of the original mailbox, and then the original alias will no longer be occupied

 Log in to http://mail.hhu.edu.cn with the new identity information and the original e-mail alias, and re-register the -email account
