 The following persons and units can apply for the campus e-mail account of Hohai University:

 1. All faculties, students and staff of Hohai University (with the work or student ID of Hohai University)

 2. Personnel hired by the second-level unit of Hohai University, who are not staffed in the Personnel Department

 3. Temporary work and study personnel in Hohai University

 4. Needed for external and internal office work of the second-level units or department-level units of Hohai University

II. Online Opening Procedure of Campus Mailbox Account:

 Visit http://mail.hhu.edu.cn, click on the 'self-help book' in the upper right corner of the page, enter the real and valid information, and open an e-mail account

 Handled by the relevant personnel in the office of the second-level unit on their behalf.

 Log in to http://my.hhu.edu.cn, click on the 'Service Hall' on the right side of the page, use the 'Campus Network Mail Account Opening/Change Registration' service to fill in the account opening information, and wait for the administrator to open an account

 After receiving the application information, the mail system administrator shall review the information, contact the applicant, and open the account within one week

 Account opening is completed

III. Offline Account Opening Procedures of Campus Mailbox:

 International students can open an account offline if it is difficult to open an account online due to the standard name situation.

 When opening an account, it needs to bring the passport and student ID to the office hall on the first floor of the Network Information Center (Xikang Road Campus) or Zhiyong Building 113 (Jiangning Campus) for on-site application.

IV. Other Instructions:

 1. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Public Security for real-name authentication of network users, all information must be authentic and valid.

 2. When teachers and students apply for a personal e-mail account, they can only apply for e-mail accounts for themselves.

 3. When teachers and students apply for a personal e-mail account, if the verification of the certificate number fails, please upload a photo of their ID card or passport (international students), and when necessary, they need to bring the certificate to the Network Information Center to apply for an e-mail account.

 4. The identity information (including the ID number) of the responsible person of the unit's e-mail account and the temporary personnel outside the school shall be reviewed by the person filling in the form and the responsible person of the filling unit, and shall undertake relevant responsibilities for the source of the authenticity of the information.

 5. The initial password must include a combination of letters and numbers, more than 8 digits, case sensitive.

 6. The user's contact number is very important for the user's subsequent account maintenance. When the registration succeeds, please log in to the e-mail account and fill in the contact number in the 'personal information' in the 'settings'.
