1. Scope of application

 The campus network IP address is the identity label for various network terminals in the school to access the resources in the school and the internet. Under normal circumstances, the network and information management center is responsible for the unified dynamic allocation. When users on campus have special requirements for office, management, teaching, scientific research, etc. (such as network printers, servers, etc.), they must apply for a fixed IP address on campus.

 This procedure does not apply to computer rooms, laboratories, clusters, virtual machines, etc. that require a large number of IP addresses.

2. Applicant Qualifications

 1) Applicants must be in-service faculty members.

 2) Under special circumstances, the non-in-service faculty and students shall ask the in-service faculty to apply on their behalf.

3. Application Procedures

    1) Collect the MAC address of the terminal that needs a fixed IP address.

    2) Log in to the portal, click on the service hall, and click on the school's fixed IP application.

    3) Click the instructions for filling in the form and read it carefully.

    4) Fill in the form with the authentic information. If you have any questions during the filling process, please contact the Network Department.

    5) After filling in, click Submit to notify the responsible person of the unit for approval.

    6) Waiting for the reply from the Network Department. If the fixed IP cannot connect with the internet, the Network Department can handle it directly.

    7) Other requirements need to be approved by the leaders of the Network Information Center.

 Log in to the portal of http://my.hhu.edu.cn, click the office hall, click the campus fixed IP application, and fill in the form

 Submit the form, inform the responsible person of the unit to review, check the process to the Network Department, and wait for the Network Department to reply

 Contact the Network Department

 Set up the fixed IP as required by the Network Department, and then the application is completed

4. Management of Fixed IP

    1) The fixed IP implements the real-name management of the responsible person, and the fixed IP responsible person, that is, the applicant, shall bear the civil, administrative or criminal legal liabilities directly or indirectly caused by the use of the IP.

    2) The fixed IP should not be used for secondary proxy or routing access services.

    3) The responsible person of the fixed IP and the administrator have the responsibility to provide security services such as network information to the terminals that use the IP, including repair the system vulnerabilities in a timely manner.

    4) If the fixed IP damages the system and the network, the Network Information Center has the right to block the IP until the system is repaired and it is confirmed that such a situation will appear again, and then it can apply to lift the ban to the Network Department of the Network Information Center.

5. Supplementary Instructions

   1) Terminals with fixed IP addresses must exclusively occupy a campus network information port or avoid being mixed with other ordinary terminals.

   2) IP addresses include IPv4 addresses and IPv6 addresses, which are determined by the user.

   3) The application of the campus fixed IP address is the primary condition for the server to open the off-campus access.

   4) If it needs to open the off-campus access permission, it needs to fill in the server off-campus access permission application.

   5) If you have any doubts while filling in the form, please contact the Network Department as far as possible to avoid the situation of returning the application for re-apply.
